Highlights@Home: Blaze a Trail

We believe that learning happens at every turn, in all the classrooms of life. And one of kids' favorite classrooms is the great outdoors. The theme for this new collection is Blaze a Trail, and we hope it will inspire your family to head outdoors for exploration and exercise.

Right now, we all may feel a little like woodland creatures, finally getting out and about after many months spent “hibernating.” You’ll find fabulous ideas for outdoor activities and ways to connect with nature in the content below.

One of the ideas—painting rocks with kind messages on them, and then hiding them for others to findgives kids a small-muscle workout, fosters creative expression, and encourages them to think of others. As so many in our communities are hurting, it’s a small but lovely act your kids can perform to help make the world a better place.
