Highlights@Home: Welcome to Summer!

At long last, summer is officially here! We’ve created this collection to celebrate all things summer.

Often, the best parent-child magic happens when you slow down and do less, not more. We’re hoping you can find, at the season’s start, an opportunity to pause and focus on really connecting with your kids.

Can you set aside a little time to simply enjoy one another’s company on the porch or deck one evening? Maybe take a swing in a hammock or stretch out together in a backyard tent? In the right time and place, when you’re feeling relaxed, carve out a moment or two when you can be fully present with your kids—when you can lean in and actively listen to them talk about their hopes and intentions for this summer.

And what’s a celebration without a banner proclaiming it? Get out the art supplies and let your kids create a unique family banner—a reminder to all that it’s time to transition to a season of more relaxation, more laughter, more enjoyment of the great outdoors, and more fun memory making.
