Highlights@Home: Alone Together
Thanks for joining us for another Highlights@Home collection. Today, in honor of National Solitaire Day on May 22, we are talking about games, to play together or alone! Great for practicing reading, math, and strategic thinking, they also help build memory, focus, and interpersonal skills. By playing games together, kids learn how to take turns and follow other rules of gameplay. They learn how to be a good sport—a gracious loser and a gracious winner. Introducing games to your kids is a wonderful, easy way for you to either spend time together or guide them to find their own fun!
